Review: Fab Lab Glitter Tattoos!

I’ve never been particularly bothered about making sure Claudia plays with ‘girls toys’ and she spends as much time playing with trucks and action figures as she does dolls and fairies. That said, I don’t think anything can come between a 5 yr old girl and a whole bunch of glitter. As soon as she saw it her eyes became as big as saucers and she started clawing at the box. Claudia’s a huge fan of arts and crafts so she’s no stranger to glitter. The idea that this glitter was actually intended to be glued to her was a surefire winner.

Fab Lab Glitter Tattoos are a simple set of colourful glitters, brushes and templates for creating exciting colourful patterns on your skin. The set comprises:

4 x coloured glitter
2 x brushes
1 x glue
1 x set of templates

There’s a really generous selection of templates covering all sorts of intricate designs. One of the best things we found is that, once the template is in place, the rest of the  process is easy enough that younger children can do it themselves. This is really important for really headstrong kids who strive to do things for themselves.

There are four glitters to choose from and she had an awesome time mixing them up and making colourful designs on her arms. Mum, who we think was secretly also quite intrigued by all the glitter and sparkles, was on hand to assist with template sticking, making sure the glue was used sparingly and sticking glitter tattoos to herself.

Mum and Claudia had a great time getting glittery and sparkly. I’d definitely recommend getting this as a simple activity to do with younger children or for older children to manage alone. The Fab Lab range also includes other similar products such as hair highlights and nail polishes.

Fab Lab Glitter tattoos are available from Amazon.

My son would not stand for this, he wont even get his face painted anymore 🙁
I’ve been tempted on a few occasions to buy this for myself, a lot cheaper than real tattoos & glitter makes everything prettier x

Oh no! We have one that loves having his face painted but then removes it the very SECOND he walks back into the house. Daughter on the other hand will try to go to bed with a panda face!
